Saturday March 10, 2018 Philadelphia Flower Show. This years Display is “Wonders of Water” The Flower Show is a Treat for all ages. Enjoy more than ten acres of landscapes, gardens, floral displays, do it yourself ideas and hands on experiences . This day is packed with so much to see and do. Here are just a few, Garden Studio, Designer Studio, Marketplace, Butterflies Live, Garden Tea, Sip & Savor (wine tasting and if you like to purchase). Then my favorite place to visit the Reading Terminal Market, just a short walk across the street. This Market place has every type of food imaginable, along with gifts galore. Cost is $66.00 per person which includes transportation, gratuity and entry ticket into show. Bus leave at 8:30 AM and returns home around 7:15 PM. Tickets need to be purchased by February 16th.
Friday March 16, 2018 Spring is in the Air or at least we hope so. Time to get out of the house. Enjoy a day in Atlantic City. Trip includes a full day at the Tropicana Casino, transportation, gratuity and $25.00 in slot play deposited on to your Tropicana playing card. Cost $30.00 per person. If you would like to enjoy a group lunch at Carmine’s add additional $28.00 to make it $58.00. This is a pre-planned full meal. The Tropicana also has many choices for lunch and or shopping. We leave at 9:30 from the church parking lot and return home around 7:00 pm.
Sunday April 22, 2018 “A BRONX TALE” on Broadway at the Longacre Theatre. You might have seen the movie but now you can see this story come to life. “A BRONX TALE” is a streetwise musical that takes you to the stoops of the Bronx in 1960’s, where a young man is caught between the father he loves and the mob boss he’d love to be. Featuring a doo wop score. This story is about respect, loyalty and above all else family. Cost $118.00 per person which includes Theatre ticket, transportation and bus driver gratuity. Payment due by March 16th.
Sunday October 14, 2018 Yes, I know that is far in advance. “FROZEN THE MUSICAL” on Broadway. St. James Theatre on 44th street. This show promises to be spectacular. I am sure by now you have heard the hit song, “Let it Go” my granddaughter has been singing it for 3 years now. Hans Christian Anderson’s fairytale The Snow Queen, the story takes place in Scandinavian surrounds, where two royal sisters, Elsa and Anna grow up. Elsa the elder of the two has a secret which causes the two to be isolated from each other. This play is for children of all ages. Cost is $198.00 per-person. Cost includes Theatre ticket, transportation and bus driver gratuity. A deposit of $75.00 per ticket is needed the balance can be paid in July 15, 2018. I still have a limited amount of tickets left.
